Contact our agronomy team to find out how we can help your farm’s productivity and bottom line.

DELIVERING IN THE FIELD

We move a lot of fertilizer each year – roughly 1,800 railcars full. Much of this amount is delivered to the farm, and Country Partners also applies a large amount for our farmer customers.

Our application equipment is equipped with the latest technology to ensure accuracy or to utilize variable-rate technology prescriptions.

We also utilize drones to handle some in-season application needs. Drones are especially useful for applications on small fields, for spot spraying and for timely/urgent acres when a ground rig is not an option.

DATA-DRIVEN DECISIONS

Look to our precision ag team to realize the full potential of your ground and inputs. We’ll help capture data and measure results. With that data comes knowledge we use to adjust management decisions in an educated manner to make a difference for your operation.

By managing differently across each field, you gain the potential to reduce input costs, raise productivity and continually improve. Each year, we essentially generate a “report card” for how the agronomic plan worked, which allows us to fine tune recommendations and maximize ROI.

PRECISION SERVICES

VARIABLE-RATE TECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS
We create application prescriptions to apply the optimal amount of inputs where they’ll do the most good on a field.

YIELD DATA CLEANING AND ANALYSIS
We take raw data and scrub it to remove anomalies and fix problems. It takes accurate data to ensure accurate recommendations.

DATA MAPPING, LAYERING
Utilizing software, we can layer data, such as yields, soil maps, fertility maps, pH, etc. We can then review years of data to see what’s consistently working and what still needs adjusting.

SOIL SAMPLING
The techniques we utilize are grid, zone and composite sampling. We create maps based on this information to get a clear picture of what’s going on in and under the soil across a field.

SOIL EC DATA COLLECTION
Measures the contrasting properties of the soil texture.  With this information, zones created are more exact than through grid sampling. Soil texture in a field does not change in the span of a lifetime so this data only needs collecting once and the zones can be sampled to keep track of nutrient levels.

TARGETED SCOUTING
Look to us to troubleshoot fields on a limited basis or as often as weekly. This allows us to make mid-season adjustments to preserve yield or adjust our plan for next season.

IMAGERY
We utilize aerial imagery, including high resolution multi-spectral drones, to determine what’s going on with a growing crop. We assess crop health, and can then diagnose what’s affecting the crop, such as hail damage, application problems, etc.

PASS – GAUGING PRODUCT PERFORMANCE ON LOCAL FIELDS

Test Plot and PASS Services: Country Partners offers farmers standard test plot services to evaluate various products or practices within their existing farming methods. For an advanced approach, we introduce our PASS service. PASS (Precision Ag Smart Stripe) entails the creation of replicated test strips throughout the entire field, deliberately incorporating multiple underlying variables to precisely gauge the effects of the test product or practice.

If you’re interested in putting in a PASS plot, please talk to our agronomy team.

BRANDS AND EXPERTISE TO GIVE YOU CHOICE

We carry top quality seed brands and then put them to the test on dozens of plots in the area. With this data and our experience with hundreds of farms, we work with you to determine which hybrids and varieties have the best potential for your acres.

We also have seed treatment facilities to get your newly planted crops off to a fast start and protect them from pests and disease.

Brands

Why limit your choices? We offer several national and regional brands so you can select seed based on your specific needs. Our lineup includes corn, soybeans, conventional and Roundup Ready alfalfa, conventional and BMR forages, small grains, cover crops and grass seed.
